Chiropractic Care

Massage Therapy
Massage has long been popular due to its effects of relaxation and the relief of pain. Available in-house at Century Park Pain and Health Clinic, it is a fantastic option appropriate for nearly anyone. You can schedule for a massage whether or not you’re a current patient here, though it serves as an excellent complement to chiropractic care.
Massage therapy involves the manipulation of the body’s soft tissues. Using their hands and forearms, a massage therapist addresses tight, painful muscles, tendons and ligaments. If you have musculoskeletal pain, stress or tense muscles, you can benefit from having massage therapy.
Shockwave Therapy
With Shockwave therapy, a handheld instrument connected to a machine is applied to a problem area where scar tissue has built up. An ultrasonic wave penetrates the tissue, restarting the healing process to eliminate your pain and dysfunction. You may have Shockwave therapy on its own or along with chiropractic or other forms of physiotherapy.
Shockwave therapy is often covered by extended health insurance carriers. The fees for shockwave therapy range from $60-$150 depending on the type of treatment that you have.

When applied, it creates a relief of pain and a relaxation of your muscles. Our acupuncturist typically uses acupuncture needles, acupuncture with electrical stimulation, cupping or Chinese massage.
Spinal Decompression
Century Park Pain and Health Clinic is now proud to offer Spinal Decompression to residents in the Edmonton area and capital region. We have been offering spinal decompression in Edmonton since 2007 when we learned of the benefits that spinal decompression offers for people suffering from herniated discs and other serious back problems.
Since acquiring our spinal decompression table we have performed over 25,000 spinal decompression treatments in our Edmonton clinic. We have helped people get away from to not just living life in pain and to a point where they are enjoying life and doing the things that they enjoy pain free. We are now proud to be the first clinic in the Edmonton area to have more than one spinal decompression table. This allows us to better accommodate our patient’s schedules and make treatment even more accessible.
