The pandemic has been hard for everyone. Given the current state of the world, it is important to understand the ongoing impact the pandemic has had on individuals and their mental/emotional health. Â
COVID has caused a great deal of stress and trauma, and in doing so, has completely shifted how we engage with and support one another. It has also significantly reduced access to coping strategies that were available prior to the pandemic leaving people without the resources they need to feel well. Â
This workshop will assist participants in understanding how autonomic nervous system functioning influences our emotional and psychological well-being, including how it responds to stress and trauma.  It intends to support participants with the following:
Understanding how the brain and body are impacted by stress and trauma
Recognizing common outcomes associated with chronic stress and trauma
Developing coping strategies that can support the nervous systemÂ
Stephanie will provide you some insight and strategies to cope during this difficult time. By the end of this webinar, you will have a clear understand on how the brain and body are impacted by stress and trauma.Â
