Osteopathy

In Osteopathic treatment, we use hands for complete diagnosis and treatment. Orthopedic and other manual tests and techniques are used to find and treat the root causes. It is suitable for almost anyone and can contribute to the treatment and management of a wide range of conditions. Our primary focus in treatments is restoring optimal functioning to bones, muscles, fascia, nerves and organs when treating acute or chronic pain. We treat not only adults, but we do specialize in treating infants and childrens too.

Rolfing Structural Integration

Rolfing® structural integration achieves remarkable results by manipulation of the myofascial system, the body’s soft connective tissue network that surrounds, support and penetrate all the muscles, bones, nerves and organs. Because the fascia throughout the body forms one seamless network, pain in one area of the body affects body function everywhere. Therefore, we treat the body by working on all areas, not just the area that is feeling the immediate pain. By lengthening and releasing the fascia, Rolfing® helps the body regain its flexibility.

Acupuncture & TCM

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine approach of penetrating the skin with thin needles at strategic points on your body. The main focus is to treat acute and chronic pain, but it has been increasingly used for stress management, anxiety, insomnia, infertility, migraines, or osteoarthritis. It is believed that acupuncture points stimulate the central nervous system. This stimulation releases chemicals into the muscles, tendons, ligaments, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.

Homeopathy

Classical homeopathy refers to the original principles of the homeopathic system, in which a single homeopathic medicine (also known as a constitutional homeopathic remedy) is chosen according to the person as a whole (a person’s constitution – summary of physical signs and symptoms, emotional feelings, mood, sensations, subconscious patterns and person’s characteristics). Homeopathic constitutional care can elicit a profound healing response and can be extremely effective in treating chronic health problems that had seemed incurable.

Registered Massage Therapy

Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body — specifically the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints to optimize health. Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Through Massage Therapy, physical function can be developed, maintained, and improved, while physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented.

Cold Laser

Cold laser therapy, also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT), is a safe and pain-free way to treat injuries and many musculoskeletal conditions. This technology speeds up the body’s natural healing process through a cascade of complex physiological reactions; this results in increased cellular regeneration, increased ATP (energy) production, and the release of endorphins (the body’s natural pain killers). This therapy is curative, resulting in improved joint mobility, reduced inflammation, and ultimately eliminating symptoms such as pain.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a collaborative treatment approach to restore, maintain, and optimize a client’s mobility, strength, function, well-being, and overall quality of life. Physiotherapists are recognized for their expertise in non-surgical treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions and injuries.
