About
I am one of 43 Clinical Specialists in Canada and one of 4 Clinical Sports Specialists (the only one in Alberta). This is a designation by our national association and is based on clinical competence and reasoning, leadership, mentorship and other attributes. I have been dedicated to continuing education for myself, and by mentoring physiotherapy students over many decades. I have worked with many teams and sports over the years, including rugby, diving, gymnastics and others at local to international levels. I am a competitive swimmer, triathlete and trail runner, and enjoy walking and running with my dogs. I have received several awards, including the YWCA Award for Women of Distinction. I have served on several Boards of Directors and Executive committees of Sports Physiotherapy, Alberta Sport Medicine Council and other professional and community organizations.
