Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues in the body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue and the skin. Treatments aim to alleviate pain and improve physical function by enhancing the circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids. A variety of techniques may be utilized depending on your individual needs, including the trigger point therapy, fascial work, deep tissue therapy, muscle stripping, joint play, stretching, and muscle energy techniques. The ultimate goal is to eliminate pain, restore mobility, improve posture, relieve mental and physical stress and assist you with ways to maintain good health. Often pain and dysfunction occur as a result of muscle imbalance. We help to identify and treat the cause of the problem in order to prevent its recurrence.

Bowen
Bowen Therapy or “Bowenwork” is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on therapy developed by Tom Bowen in Australia. It is often referred to as the “homeopathy of bodywork” for its ability to draw on the body’s natural desire to heal itself and return to a state of wellness. Using small, measured inputs or “moves”, this technique is done on specific areas of the body (over muscle, tendon, ligament and nerve) in specific sequences, delivering signals to the nervous system that relay information about areas of tension, pain and injury. The body is then allowed to respond in its own time to begin healing itself, often profoundly. There are very few contraindications but this therapy is appropriate for all ages.

Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a non-invasive, drug free manual therapy used to improve circulation and correct biomechanics. Osteopathy aims to help improve health across the full body by manipulating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework. A Manual Osteopath will focus on muscles, joints and the spine. Treatment aims to help the body’s lymphatic, circulatory and nervous systems.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle form of bodywork that has a profound effect on the nervous system. CST was developed nearly 100 years ago by an American osteopathic physician. Techniques are used based on understanding the continuous subtle movements of the bones of the head (cranial) which result in a rhythm of approximately 6-12 cycles a minute. This rhythm is continued throughout the entire body with each inhalation and exhalation. Your spine, skull, and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, fascia and soft tissue are treated for restrictions. Treatment works to restore cranial mobility, release abnormal myofascial restrictions, help align bones and release abnormal cranial restrictions. It can help with migraines, headaches, stress, insomnia, whiplash, post concussion,TMJ Dysfunction, sinus congestion, and tinnitus.
