This place is amazing! The facility is clean & welcoming to little ones. The staff is full of experienced therapists that are decicated to the kids they work with. Our PT Kristi is incredible with my special needs toddler. She is a master of her craft. Kristi incorporates play into physically challenging work, while keeping my child safe. As a parent of a child with physical disabilities, it’s refreshing to watch a therapist who understands & adapts movements to meet her abilities and builds on them weekly. Kristi is also well versed with various equipment & has helped us acquire an invaluable piece of equipment that provided my non-ambulatory child with mobility. I have been brought to tears on a few occasions watching the incredible progress my little girl has made in therapy. Her confidence has grown so much in the last few months and she now asks often when she’ll get to go see Ms. Kristi again and do therapy. We live on the westbank and Kim4Kids is well worth the drive to Metairie!

What to expect at an Evaluation?
Initial Meeting: Both the parent and child will enter the session together with one of our OTs and therapy technicians. The child will then engage in play activities with one of our therapy technicians. Parent Interview: While the child is playing, our team will interview the parent to gather necessary information and insights. Child Evaluation: The child will undergo a thorough evaluation. Parents can choose to stay with the child or wait outside, based on what is best for the child’s comfort. Review of Results: After the evaluation, the parent will rejoin the session. The child will continue to play with the technician in our gym room while we discuss the evaluation results with the parent. We aim to create a comfortable and supportive environment for both the child and parent throughout the evaluation process.
What is the attendance policy?
A family is expected to maintain 85% attendance. Kim4Kids has an attendance policy because consistency is vital to your child’s success in therapy. When attendance is inconsistent, we take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back toward your child’s goals. When children do not attend therapy consistently, we cannot, in good conscience, continue to hold a spot on the schedule for them, when there are other children in need of our services.
Do you take insurance?
Yes! We are in network with all Blue Cross Blue Shield policies, including Ochsner Blue! We are also in network with United Health Care, and all insurance policies that fall under the UHC umbrella (UMR). For all other insurance companies, we provide the courtesy of filing out of network for you. We verify all benefits and costs prior to the start of intervention, and ensure that all families understand what their benefits and costs are for intervention.
Where are you located?
We are conveniently located off of the Clearview North exit. Take the I-10 Service Road behind Clearview Mall and Kim4Kids is at the corner of Kingman and El Dorado. We have easy parking access on both sides of our building, and we also have a drive through for easy drop off and pick up! Parents love our location, due to ease of access, but also because of the proximity to Target and Starbucks!
