Physiotherapy
For your first visit, you will complete a detailed assessment with one of our physiotherapists that will include strength and range of motion testing as well as posture, gait and balance analysis. Our goal is to get you back in tip-top shape for work, sports and everything in between. We create a custom recovery program that utilizes a variety of techniques that are designed to decrease pain, increase joint mobility and strength, restore normal function, optimize recovery and prevent future injury.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is a hands-on approach that focuses on the prevention and treatment of neuromuscular conditions relating to nerves, joints, bones and muscles. At Keswick and Sutton Physiotherapy Clinics, our chiropractor’s goal is to restore and maintain your body’s normal function through the use of joint manipulations called adjustments. Our chiropractor will gently move a specific joint to its physiological end-range before applying a controlled, gentle thrust.
Massage Therapy
At Keswick and Sutton Physiotherapy Clinics, all of our massages are performed by registered massage therapists who have completed an intensive training program as well as a provincial exam. They are all registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, allowing you to claim our services through your extended health insurance. Our therapists are highly skilled and have experience treating individuals suffering from issues relating to car accidents, work-related injuries and more.
Custom Bracing
At Keswick and Sutton Physiotherapy Clinics, all of our bracing specialists have an in-depth understanding of human body movement and will work with you to determine what type of brace you will benefit from the most. After you consult with our therapists, you will be prescribed a brace. This customized brace is designed to provide you with additional support and promote healing as you go about your daily activities.
Orthotics
At Keswick and Sutton Physiotherapy Clinics, we use a computerized technology called GaitScan to evaluate your foot’s biomechanics. This dynamic 3D scan assesses pressure points in your feet during standing and walking, allowing us to create custom orthotics. Custom orthotics on your feet are much like glasses on your eyes – reducing stress and strain on your body by bringing your feet back to proper alignment.
