We’ve had such an amazing experience with this clinic. My daughter has been coming here since she was a toddler and now she is almost 9! We mainly see physiotherapy,her therapist Dipika has been amazing! She is so knowledgeable in pediatric therapy,everytime we go there she has engaging tailored excercises that feels play based rather than training. We absolutely look forward to our appointments. Thank you to the staff at CCD,everyone we come into contact from the front staff to other providers are so lovely.

CCD has been a lovely experience with our 20 month old son for physical therapy. Dipika our PT, has been great to work with on a weekly basis. She is able to provide extensive knowledge and experience with every session and makes our son very comfortable when doing the exercises meanwhile involving play so that he is not overexerted. The clinic has such a variety of equipment, tools & toys to enable us to see progress each week. We would highly recommend CCD!

Game changer! We have been going several times per week for the past few months and the difference it has made for my daughter is astounding. The entire staff there is absolutely wonderful, and have helped her make so much progress in many different areas. SMILE has given my daughter so much independence and confidence, and she now gets so excited when she sees the door to the clinic. She has RAN towards it a few times in her walker. If that isn't a huge testament to the staff and program, I don't know what is! Julie (one of the owners) has created the perfect space to help our children thrive, and she has been so great with communicating with our family every step of the way. Therapy can be tough for kiddos, and the whole team has worked so hard to make sure our sessions are both fun and beneficial for her development. She's made so many big and mini milestones since starting at SMILE, and it's worth every penny. And if you need any more convincing... they now offer both paediatric AND parent massage therapy right in the clinic (parent massages can be done while your kiddo is in their own sessions). What could be better than getting yourself a massage to unwind (and get a mini break!) while you know kiddo is in great hands with the SMILE therapists?

We were unsure of what to expect of the three week intensive program when we booked it, but we knew we wanted to try anything to help our baby girl improve her mobility. She suffered strokes at birth and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. The intensive therapy was more than we could ever expect. Our 10 month old daughter was sitting for 5 seconds (which we were so happy about) and after a week of therapy she was sitting for over two minutes. The therapists and assistants were incredibly kind and worked so hard to push her limits and make the experience enjoyable for her. I would highly recommend going to Canadian Centre for Development for an intensive program if your child is delayed or has mobility issues. They were able to use different techniques to propel my daughter’s mobility development and help set a plan for home use. We are so happy we decided to try this therapy program and we plan to book more.
