The Adler Centre offers an amazing training experience for Graduate Counselling students completing their Masters degrees, while also providing valuable low-cost mental health counselling services to the community. Intern Counsellors receive a supported, thorough training experience to ensure they're offering ethical, competent care to their clients. Dr Chris Shelley provides excellent clinical support & knowledge to develop the abilities of his intern Counsellors so they can learn to manage a caseload effectively. All of the staff at the Adler Center foster a warm, friendly counselling environment for both clients and Graduate Counselling interns.

My experience with Shay was incredibly disappointing. She giggled multiple times as I was crying, and her tone and body language made me feel like I was annoying her for even being there. The session felt careless and unprofessional, as if no real effort was being made. Low-cost counselling should still offer basic empathy and competence. If you’re looking for real support, I recommend choosing a different centre with qualified, experienced counsellors.
